Jason grew up on a hobby farm in Chepstow, Ontario, and is well-informed regarding the challenges associated with out-of-town properties. A trained bricklayer, he has experience in multiple areas of residential construction and restoration, including bricklaying, drywalling and roofing, giving him a strong working knowledge of residential construction.

Jason holds a Law and Security diploma from Georgian College where he practiced critical thinking and analysis with regards to public safety and emergency management. A sports enthusiast, he has coached children and youth in both baseball and hockey and continues to play recreationally. He has also volunteered his time with the Chepstow & District Lions Club and fundraised for the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
